One Corpse Too Many

Meet all eight of our celebrated crime writing authors up front and personal in a riotous evening of “table-hopping”. Each author has five minutes to tell one table all about her book, then it’s time for the next author! With authors Ginger Bolton, Brenda Chapman, Vicki Delany, Joy Fielding, S.M. Hurley, Ausma Zehanat Khan, Hannah Mary McKinnon and Iona Whishaw. Snacks included!

The Sanctuary Sparrow
Saturday, August 31st, 2 p.m.
St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 31 King St., Picton
Join four writers of different types of mystery in the stunning sanctuary at St. Andrew’s Church. Along with your tea and yummy treats, dip into the worlds of mystery with a local flavour, with donuts, in a cozy mood, with spies and more! With authors Ginger Bolton, Vicki Delany, S.M. Hurley and Iona Whishaw. Includes full tea! Presented in cooperation with The Friends of Rose House Museum.

A Morbid Taste for Bones

Glenwood Cemetery Chapel, 47 Ferguson St., Picton
Join us in the wonderfully spooky stone chapel at Glenwood Cemetery as four of our authors discuss secrets from the past, the perils of on-line dating, the gritty streets of Kingston and the tragedy of a shooting in a mosque! With Brenda Chapman, Joy Fielding, Ausma Zehanat Khan and Hannah Mary McKinnon. Snacks included!

An Excellent Mystery Workshop

Picton Public Library, 208 Main St., Picton
Best-selling author Vicki Delany leads a workshop designed to unravel the mystery of plotting – how to keep the story moving and the readers reading. Approximately two hours. Partial proceeds of ticket sales to the Prince Edward County Library System.

The Devil’s Novice Workshop
Sunday, September 1st, 10 a.m.
Picton Public Library, 208 Main St., Picton
Just who’s telling this story anyway? Best-selling author Brenda Chapman will show you the ins and outs of how to work with different points of view. Approximately two hours. Partial proceeds from ticket sales to the Prince Edward County Library system.
